Hisar . The Karnal Anti-Corruption Bureau team arrested Inspector Umed Singh and JE Shiv Kumar from the Hansi Police Criminal Division red-handed. The Anti-Corruption Bureau took these measures following the complaint lodged by Sunil Kumar, a resident of Dharamkhedi District who practices at the Hansi Court. Both arrested defendants will be brought before the court on Tuesday.

In the complaint, which was submitted to the Karnal Anti-Corruption Bureau, lawyer Sunil Kumar said he currently resides in Umra village. A fraud case has been registered against him at Narnaund Police Station, where he is currently on bail. Apart from that, another fraud case against him has been registered at Hansi Police Station which is being investigated by Inspector Umed Singh from Economic Crimes Unit. When he met Inspector Umed Singh regarding this, he said that by not arresting him in this case he would remove his name from the case, but he would have to bear the costs. Umed Singh said to meet my brother in law Shiv Kumar JE for this, I told him the whole thing.

Umed Singh also gave the cell phone number of his brother-in-law JE Shivkumar. When he spoke to JE Shiv Kumar he asked for seven lakh rupees in return for removing my name from the case. At the same time, JE said that if this money is not given, he will have Umed Singh arrested. When JE Shivkumar pressured him he gave five and a half lakh rupees in March but now inspector Umed Singh and JE Shiv Kumar are pressuring him to give one and a half lakh rupees.

Lawyer Sunil Kumar complained to the Anti-Corruption Bureau that Inspector Umed Singh and JE Shiv Kumar asked him one lakh rupees today but he would not give them the money. Lawyer Sunil Kumar also handed over 200 notes of 500-500 rupees to the Anti-Corruption Bureau along with his complaint. After the complaint, the Anti-Corruption Bureau formed a group of Inspector Sachin, Lady Inspector Praveena Kumar, ESI Nafesingh, ESI Jaipal, ASI Krishna Kumar, Subesingh, Deepak Kumar, Constable Praveen Kumar and Constable Naseeb Singh and brought them to the Fauji Da Family Dhaba in the Jind Road Hansi dispatched and appointed SDO Rahul of Jal Sewa Mandal Irrigation Authority as an independent witness. Here the complainant called Inspector Umed Singh and JE Shiv Kumar to give the money and as soon as both took this amount they were arrested in the act.
