Fatehabad: A young man fell victim to greed in the Tohana area. In greed to double the money in 200 days, the young man lost 17.5 lakh rupees. When the young man found out about the fraud, he reported it to the police. The police began proceedings against the accused on April 24.
Simranjit Singh, a resident of Dashmesh Nagar Chand Kalan village, said that Dr. Pawan and Gaurav Sharma aka Monty, residents of Kulan, came to him in June 2022 from Vikas Nagar, Jammu. Gaurav said that he is the owner of You Look Dry Fruits and told about investing money in his company. He said that the amount of money he will invest in his business, one percent of the money will be deposited in his account continuously for the next 200 days, ie his amount will double in 200 days. After that he invested Rs 3 lakh at Gaurav. Afterwards he also gave him another blank check for 14.5 lakhs.
After that, according to Gaurav, some money came back to his account for 10-15 days, but after that this money stopped coming. When he called Gaurav, he said that he extorts money from such people. When he received his bank statement, he learned that the amount of his check had been deposited into Anuditya Verma’s account. He then lodged a complaint with the police about fraud. In this case, Sadar Tohana Police have opened an investigation by opening a case against Dr. Registered Pawan, Gaurav Sharma and Anuditya Verma for fraud.
