Hisar farmers protest: In Narnaund area of ​​Hisar, Haryana, the 36-day protest by farmers at Bas village toll plaza over MSP and other demands was postponed today, Tuesday. Kandela Khap chief Omprakash Kandela said the protest has been postponed until the Lok Sabha elections. The farmers will present their demands to the new government to be formed at the Centre.

Announcing the decision of the committee formed by the khaps, the head of Kandela Khap had called on all khaps and farmers’ organizations to unite. It is stated that due to the announcement of elections, the code of conduct has come into force and no discussions or compromises can be made with the government in the meantime.

He further said that the ongoing Khaps strike will be postponed until the new government is formed. All khaps support all demands of farmers.
