Gurugram: A major accident occurred in a sleeper bus traveling late at night in Gurugram. Many workers were traveling in the bus which was traveling from Gurugram Sector 12 to Hamirpur in UP. Suddenly, a small gas bottle exploded, causing the back of the bus to catch fire. The bus then started to burn. Two passengers died in the fire and twelve were seriously injured. The bus burned to ashes and the cause of the fire is not yet known. Of the injured, five were admitted to Medanta Hospital and seven to Civil Hospital.
According to reports, a sleeper bus filled with workers caught fire due to the sudden explosion of a cylinder. The fire spread so quickly that the passengers were caught. After receiving the information, the fire brigade reached the spot and tried to control the fire, but by then two people had already died due to burn injuries. A dozen people were seriously injured. The injured were taken to hospital for treatment. After receiving the information, the police arrived at the spot, took possession of both bodies and sent them for autopsy. The police are investigating the matter.

After receiving information about the incident, Deputy Commissioner Nishant Kumar Yadav and Gurugram Police Commissioner Vikas Kumar Arora also reached the spot. He inquired about the welfare of the injured and expressed condolences to the families of the deceased.
