Faridabad: Miscreants fired four shots at a grocery store yesterday evening. A bullet pierced the cheek of an 11-year-old girl who had come to collect the luggage. The injured girl was taken to hospital. After receiving the information, the police went to the scene and began an investigation.

Yesterday evening, three unidentified gunmen opened fire at a grocery store in Sector 48 of SGM Nagar police station. This is Dinesh Sharma’s shop. Dinesh Sharma was not at the store during the shooting. An 11-year-old girl, Jhanvi, had gone to the store with her father Ramesh to buy goods. During the firing, a bullet hit the girl’s cheek. The girl was immediately admitted to Badshah Khan Civil Hospital for treatment. After the incident, ACP Mahesh Sheoran and SHO of SGM Nagar police station Rajesh Bagri reached the spot and took stock of the incident. After viewing the accident site, he reached the emergency room of Badshah Khan Civil Hospital to inquire about the girl’s health. Since the girl’s condition was not good, doctors referred her to Delhi for treatment. The shooters have not been identified. The police are investigating the matter.
