Faridabad: Head of Police Station NIT. Sunita’s team arrested the accused in the rape of a minor case. The police produced the accused before the court. The defendant was sent to prison on the order of the court. The defendant is questioned by the police. The name of the arrested accused is Vinay Kumar. The accused is originally a resident of Haldarpur village in Kanpur Dehat district of Uttar Pradesh and recently hailed from Faridabad.
The victim’s family members said in the complaint that the accused took the 13-year-old minor girl with him after luring her. With whom the accused committed the crime of rape. While the police team was working on the case, they found the girl from Jalaun in Uttar Pradesh. The statements of the minor girl were recorded before the legal aid agency and in court. Based on this statement, POCSO Act was imposed against the accused. The NIT team of the police station took action and arrested the accused from NIT zone of Faridabad. The accused was brought before the court for questioning and remanded in custody for two days. During the police remand of the accused, the motorcycle used in the crime was recovered from Delhi border, Badarpur, Mehrauli. The accused has been living in Faridabad for six months. During the interrogation of the defendant, it emerged that the defendant works as an assistant in a hospital. After interrogation in the case, the accused was produced before the court and sent to jail.
