Hisar news:Wrestlers and villagers demonstrated in Hisar against sending wrestler Bajrang Punia to the Asian Games without trial. The protesting villagers supported wrestler Vishal Kaliravan and said that sending Bajrang Punia to the Asian Games without a trial was absolutely wrong. The government and the wrestling federation should file a case against Bajrang Punia. Only then should the Asian Games be held. He said that the federation ignored Vishal Kaliravaan even though his performance was much better than that of Bajrang Punia. Wrestler Vishal Kaliravaan secured first place in all trials held for the Asian Games by registering five wins in five wrestling events. Not only that, if the government believes that only Bajrang Punia will go to the Asian Games, then let him wrestle Vishal Kali Ravana first and then you will know the truth about how much power he has.
Rodhi Khap chief Hardeep Sharma said that Bajrang Punia should accept the challenge of Vishal Kaliravaan. Vishal Kaliravaan is my Khap’s son and I am standing up for Vishal. The panchayat had challenged Bajrang Punia to wrestle with the village’s wrestler son Vishal Kaliravaan. Besides, the panchayats present in the panchayat had announced to give a reward of Rs 27 lakh to Bajrang, including a car and a buffalo for winning the wrestling. Just yesterday, while accepting the challenge, Bajrang Punia had said that I will not leave the country but will come back after the Asian Games and also wrestle with Vishal Kaliravaan.
