After some time of clicking the link, 17,700 rupees disappeared from the person’s account. Following the victim’s complaint, Garhi Police Station has opened a case against unknown persons on various counts including theft and fraud. The police are investigating the matter

Sheeshpal, a resident of Dhanori village, told police in his complaint that his Nokia company phone had been damaged. Which was sent for repair via the e-commerce company’s representative. He got a call, the caller introduced himself from Nokian Care and said the cell phone was repaired. Also, this person sent the link and asked to charge 20 rupees for delivery. 20 rupees were sent through the link, after some time a message for 17,000 rupees was debited from his account. After some time 700 was withdrawn from his account and the withdrawn amount went to Paytm Sonu Kumar’s account. The defendant also attempted to withdraw money from his other bank account. Following Sheeshpal’s complaint, Garhi Police Station has opened a case against an unknown person on various charges including theft and fraud.

Shyamlal, the investigating officer at Garhi Police Station, said the victim had filed a complaint about withdrawing money from his account. On this basis, the case was registered. The matter is currently under investigation.
