When other farmers came to work in the fields in the morning, they found the body hanging from the noose. Later, this information was passed on to the relatives of the deceased.
The deceased was identified as Bhima, a resident of Rankhanda. After informing relatives of the incident, police arrived at the site, removed the body from the pole and sent it to the local civilian hospital for an autopsy. Relatives who were present at the hospital said that Bhima has been concerned about a quarrel in the village for the past few days. According to villagers, his son’s name was misspelled in the dispute that ensued. His son works as a police officer in the Haryana Police Department. The opposition people wanted to take his job away from him by getting his son into a fight. He also tried several times to reconcile, but he did not succeed.
Doubts about the hanging are also expressed by the relatives. They say that it is difficult for a young man to climb the tree on which the gallows is hung.
