Jind: Rs 81,000 was stolen on the pretext of sending a young man studying in Singapore to Australia on a tourist visa. When the victim pressed for the amount, the defendant threatened to put her in a false case. Police at the Narvana Municipal Police Station have launched a case against four people for fraud and forgery. The police are investigating the matter

Balwan Singh, resident of Prem Nagar Narvana, said his son Manoj is studying in Singapore. In 2022 he was contacted by Radvision Consultant. Its owner and partner Mohali, Punjabi-based Aditi Simran Kaur and Tasleen, said they would send their son Manoj to Australia on a tourist visa at low cost. Instead, the defendant took an amount of 81000 from him until January 2023. In addition, it was assured that Manoj will soon be sent to Australia. With that, the defendant began to demand two lakh more.

When he refused to turn over the amount and to recover the amount, the defendant threatened to implicate him in a false case. The accused even told him that he might have to pay several hundred rupees more in the name of the settlement. Following Balwan’s complaint, the Narwana Municipal Police Station has initiated proceedings against the owner of Redvision Consultant, his partner Aditi Simran Kaur and Tasleen on various charges including fraud. The police are investigating the matter

Malkit Singh, the investigating officer at Narvana Municipal Police Station, said the individual had filed a complaint against four people. On this basis, the case was registered. The matter is currently under investigation.
