Sirsa: On Sunday, the bodies of a man and a woman with their legs tied with a rope were found in the Bhakra canal, which passes through Asir village in Dabwali area. As soon as the information was received, the Kalanwali police station immediately reached the spot, with the help of the villagers, retrieved the bodies, took them into custody and kept them at Sirsa General Hospital for 72 hours for identification.

A district police spokesperson said police found two bodies in the Bhakra canal near Asir village. One of these bodies shows a woman and the other a man. Both the man and the woman’s feet are tied. Police have taken both bodies into custody and are investigating. The bodies are currently unidentified. It is speculated that these bodies were washed away from behind. Seeing the dead body, it seems as if the body had been in the water for many days. Police have kept the bodies at the mortuary of Sirsa Civil Hospital for identification. The police are currently investigating.
