Sirsa News: Chaudhary Devi Lal University has received the Letter of Recognition for 100 places in the four-year integrated teacher education program from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and the admissions process will begin shortly.

CDLU is the first university in the state to provide 50 science faculty seats as part of its integrated teacher education program. Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Nivedita and Dr. Rajkumar released the information on Thursday after attending the orientation program organized by the National Council for Teacher Education in New Delhi. University Vice Chancellor Prof. Ajmer Singh Malik congratulated the department and expressed hope that by enrolling in this course, students will become good teachers and ensure their participation in nation building. Malik said that a good teacher plays an important role in nation-building, and with the launch of this integrated program in the university, students who pass 10+2 can directly become university students.

This program will be fully aligned with NEP-2020 from the 2023-24 academic session. As part of this program, the university offers special training to young people who are looking for employment as teachers. Students who are admitted to this BA program will go to bed. And will be able to complete the B.Sc.B.Ed degree in just four years. Admission to the four-year BA-B.Ed and B.Sc-B.Ed courses is based on an entrance test administered by the National Testing Agency. This acceptance test was carried out and the result is also available.
