In this regard, Police Commissioner Uday Singh Meena said that conducting police screening of tenants and domestic workers is very important in order to curb crime and criminals more effectively. He said it is common for criminally inclined people to rent houses to commit crimes and conspire as tenants to commit incidents such as theft, fraud, robbery and rape.

He said the police were running a campaign to screen tenants and servants, and it would continue in the future. He said if the tenants and housekeeping staff were found to be involved in a criminal incident, legal action would be taken against the landlords as well. Therefore, as a responsible citizen, have the tenant and domestic workers screened, because that way you are on the safe side and there will be no repeat of a criminal incident in the future.
