COVID-19 cases in India: The death toll due to Coronavirus infection in the country seems to be increasing once again. Record cases of death have come to the fore in the past day. However, there is news of relief that there is a decrease in the number of positive cases.
Giving information on Friday, the Union Health Ministry said that 7,533 new coronavirus cases have been registered in India. After this, the total infection cases increased to 4.49 crore, while the total number of active cases decreased to 53,852. In the last 24 hours, 44 people have died, in which maximum 16 people have lost their lives from Kerala. So far, the death toll across the country has increased to 5,31,468. Talking about active corona case, the ratio is 0.12 percent.
According to the ministry’s website, the national COVID-19 recovery rate was recorded at 98.69 per cent. The number of people who have recovered from the disease increased to 4,43,47,024, while the fatality rate was recorded at 1.18 percent. A total of 4.49 crore Covid cases have been registered in India so far. A total of 220.66 crore doses of Kovid vaccine have been given so far in the country under the nationwide Kovid-19 vaccination campaign.
Corona case in Delhi
As per the data shared by the health department, the capital Delhi has recorded 865 new coronavirus cases with a positivity rate of 16.9 per cent. Overall the number of Covid cases has risen to 20,37,061, while the death toll has risen to 26,620. There are currently 4,279 active cases in Delhi. Of these, 3,143 patients are in home isolation. In the last 24 hours, 7 patients have died in the capital.
