With this, the Finance Minister further said that nine different schemes and programs have been made to beautify the Delhi road network. 26 new flyovers and underpasses will be built. 1,600 new electric buses will come. Free world class ISBTs will be developed.

Public transport system will be improved

The Finance Minister said that Delhi will spend Rs 28,556 crore over the next 12 years for the induction of electric buses. In 2023-24, Rs 3500 crore will be set aside to improve Delhi’s public transport system. Rs 1500 crore will be spent on the electrification of 57 bus depots.

ISBT Sarai Kale Khan and Anand Vihar will be developed on the lines of the airport. It will have commercial complexes. International standard ISBT will also be developed in Dwarka.
