Today saplings were distributed to the members of Old Citizen Club of Mayur Bihar on behalf of Give Me Trees Trust at Panchayat Dham, National Office of Akhil Bhartiya Panchayat Parishad. According to the instructions of former Union Minister and National President of All India Panchayat Parishad, Mr. Subodh Kant Sahai, environmental promotion programs are being organized in panchayats all over India. In order to connect everyone with greenery, the All India Panchayat Parishad is making a strategy to run a nationwide campaign in the coming days.

Today’s program was presided over by Dr. Ashok Chauhan, acting president of the council. On this occasion, All India Panchayat Parishad General Secretary Headquarters Anil Sharma, General Secretary Dhyan Pal Singh Jadaun, Jaipal Singh Sisodia (General Secretary), Office Secretary Diwakar Dubey, Media Advisor Badri Nath, special invitees from Haryana including BJP leader Umesh Sharma, all employees and Many office bearers from all over the country participated. The program was started with a colorful program and ended with sapling distribution. Along with this, All India Panchayat Parishad’s mouthpiece Panchayat Sandesh was presented to all the visitors.

It may be noted that the All India Panchayat Parishad is building a unique Panchayat Vatika (National Panchayat Vatika). Under which 60 types of shady and 40 types of fruit trees have been planted inside the Panchayat Parishad. So far 32 types of birds and 12 types of butterflies have arrived in the National Panchayat Garden, out of which 9 are migrant species (foreign birds).

The local people believe that due to the development of greenery in the National Panchayat Vatika at this place in the heart of the city, there has been a lot of purity in the air of the area. There is a plan to develop this Panchayat Vatika as a model in the coming days. Where sarpanches, block heads and district panchayat presidents will be called from time to time and training will be given to increase the income of the gram sabha by developing greenery (planting trees) on the vacant lands of the gram sabha.
