A man killed his wife’s lover in Delhi’s Mundka area. Police have arrested the accused. Its name has been told as Charan Singh (38). The knife used in the murder has also been recovered. The wife of the deceased and the accused worked in the same factory. He had to come and go at home too. Many times there had been a quarrel between husband and wife regarding this matter.

According to DCP Harendra Singh, on May 26, Mundka police station had received information about the incident from Sanjay Gandhi Hospital. It was told that a young man named Pradeep (25), a resident of Ghonda, was brought by a woman named Pooja in an injured condition. Pooja told the police that she works in a factory. The injured Pradeep also works there. There was a friendship between the two. Pradeep used to come to his house too. Her husband Charan Singh did not like this thing. There had been a fight between them several times regarding this matter.
On 25th May her husband said that he is going to Saifai, UP on the sudden demise of his sister’s husband. Saying this he left the house in the evening. After this Pradeep came to his house. Later Charan Singh also came home. Charan Singh did not say much after seeing his friend Pradeep and he also had dinner with Pradeep at night. After this everyone slept in the same room. Both the children of Charan Singh had gone to their grandmother’s house last week. At around 5.30 am, Charan Singh attacked Pradeep’s stomach with a vegetable knife. Pooja also tried to save him, but Charan Singh had lost his temper. After this he fled from there. During the investigation of the case, the police caught the accused near Mundka Metro Station itself. Meanwhile, the injured Pradeep died in the hospital on Saturday. The accused also worked in another factory in Mundka.
