The New Delhi range of Special Cell of Delhi Police has arrested an interstate arms supplier. 10 pistols have been recovered from it. The supplier named Shivam Prajapati is from Satna, Madhya Pradesh. Police is interrogating the accused and trying to find out about other people involved in the supply of arms. Some names have come up in the initial inquiry. The police is making a strategy to arrest him.

According to DCP Rajeev Ranjan Singh, a team of Inspectors Satish Rana and Manoj Kumar arrested Prajapati from Sundayal Park near Barapullah flyover. All the 10 pistols recovered from it are of 32 bore. During interrogation, it was revealed that he used to buy weapons from Amit Yadav of Rewa, MP and sell them at high prices in Delhi NCR. Amit has been associated with illegal arms business for many years. He is also wanted in a case of Special Cell. Apart from this, he has also been involved in the murder case in 2020 in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh itself. Police is also trying to find out about the miscreants of Delhi to whom weapons were supplied.
According to the police, Amit is also involved in a murder case in Madhya Pradesh’s Rewa, which took place 3 years back in 2020. Police is continuously interrogating the arrested accused. Police has registered a case in this matter and started further action. According to the police, Shivam Prajapati used to do small private jobs after completing his studies. During the same time he came in contact with Amit Yadav and then started supplying arms.
