At the Government Girls Senior Secondary School in Chhatarpur, Delhi, the health of 22 girl students of class six and seven deteriorated on Wednesday afternoon. Some started getting nervous and many had panic attacks and fainted. All were hurriedly admitted to Safdarjung Hospital where their condition is said to be out of danger. Preliminary investigation has revealed that the incident took place due to the knockout pepper spray leaking.

It was told by the police that the condition of the girls deteriorated while celebrating the birthday of a teacher. An ambulance took 15 girl students to the hospital at 2:50 pm. All were students of classes VI and VII. Later seven more girl students reached the hospital. The condition of all the girls got better for some time.
