New Delhi: Four miscreants took passengers hostage from Delhi’s Anand Vihar railway station by making them sit in a mini bus. After this, they kept on fighting and looting in the moving bus. Meanwhile, on hearing the shouts of the passengers, the police patrolling caught the four miscreants. The names of the robbers have been mentioned as Satyapal, Manoj, Deepu and Vipin. Of these, three accused are residents of Khichdipur and Ghazipur while one accused is a resident of Loni.

In the statement given to the police, a youth named Vineet Kumar told that he is basically a resident of Jharkhand. His cousin lives in Rohini. He is a student of class 12th. Was going to my uncle here. After getting down from Anand Vihar train on Friday afternoon, he came out and stood waiting for the vehicle to go to Rohini. Seeing the minibus that came there, he boarded it. Slowly 16 passengers including women boarded the bus.

The accused were boarding the bus from Gurgaon, Faridabad to Panipat. However, the bus had a board from Anand Vihar to Delhi Railway Station. After this, the miscreants took out the knife and snatched the luggage of the two passengers and made them down. Whoever protested, they started beating him. When the bus reached the Shastri Park flyover, all the passengers started shouting loudly. The policemen passing by caught sight of the bus, after which the bus was stopped. After this, the police overpowered all the four miscreants. At the same time, the police has started further action in this matter. The police is also checking the criminal records of the arrested miscreants.
