Former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia is in Tihar Jail. The court has taken Sisodia into judicial custody. Meanwhile, tomorrow a hearing is going to be held in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court regarding Manish Sisodia’s bail.
The eyes of the whole country, including the Aam Aadmi Party, will be on what the verdict is in the court. Will Sisodia get bail or will judicial custody be extended. It has been more than a month since Sisodia was arrested, but till now the court has not reached any conclusion in the liquor scam case. The court has extended the custody of Sameer Mahendru related to the same case. In such a situation, it is being speculated that Sisodia’s judicial custody will also be extended.
CBI opposes Sisodia’s bail plea
According to media reports, the court had reserved the decision in this matter last week. In such a situation, the case is going to be heard once again tomorrow i.e. on Friday. On the other hand, the investigation of CBI is still going on in this matter. Sisodia has given a petition to get bail.
It has been said in this petition that other accused related to this case have already got bail, only I have been arrested. Expressing opposition to Sisodia’s bail plea, the CBI said that if he is granted bail, our investigation will be affected. There will be many interventions in the matter. Because of this, till the investigation is not completed, Manish Sisodia should not be given bail.
Sisodia destroys his phones
CBI said that Manish Sisodia destroyed his phone. There were many evidences related to the liquor scam case in that mobile. The phone had records of conversations with several people, but Sisodia destroyed the phone before the investigation.
