Delhi Excise Policy: Manish Sisodia did not get relief, bail will be heard on April 18, debate lasted for 2 hours

Delhi Excise Policy: Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia has once again got no relief in the money laundering case related to the Delhi liquor scam. Today’s hearing on Sisodia’s bail plea has been completed. The next hearing in this case will be held on April 18 at 2 pm in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court. Along with this, the court has also asked to submit the reply process in writing. Manish Sisodia’s bail plea was debated in the court for about two hours, but he did not get any relief.

Advocate Zoheb Hussain argued on behalf of ED on Manish Sisodia’s bail plea in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court. ED said that no policy is made in the mind. ED said in the court that the increase in license fee will increase the profit margin does not understand any logic. Let us inform that in this matter today i.e. on Wednesday, the lawyers of Sisodia and ED gave their respective arguments in the Rouse Avenue Court. The ED said that Manish Sisodia had played a key role in revising and implementing the Delhi Excise Policy. At the same time, it was said on behalf of Manish Sisodia that the ED is probing him without jurisdiction.

ED told the court that Sisodia was the head of the GoM and he had all the information not only about the cabinet. Along with this, the ED said that he was also instrumental in the change of policy. The ED told the court that the bribe was taken in lieu of favors in the policy. Let us tell you that earlier on April 5, the ED told the court that the money laundering probe against Manish Sisodia in the alleged liquor scam is at a critical stage and fresh evidence has been found of his involvement in it. In such a situation, he should not be given bail now.
