Pathak said that we have prepared an agenda of 9 points to ensure that the cleanliness campaign continues in a systematic manner for 365 days in Delhi. Within no time, heaps of garbage will not be seen in Delhi.

He said that cleaning all the vacant plots and heaps of garbage lying in the drains of Delhi, cleaning the parks, cleaning all the market areas twice a day etc. are included in this agenda. It will be the responsibility of MCD to ensure that all the work is being done properly. MCD will take necessary action against those violating the instructions.

Pathak said that first of all, congratulations to all the councilors of Delhi, all the employees of MCD, all the representatives of Delhi Government because they worked day and night to make the G-20 program successful. Many people say that all this cleanliness is happening in the name of G-20, after this there will be no cleanliness. We want to make the whole of Delhi aware of the message of CM Arvind Kejriwal that the cleanliness campaign that you have seen in Delhi till now was not just for G-20 but it will be continued for 365 days.

Officers will take feedback from regular employees

Pathak said that as per the agenda, Delhi Mayor and MCD officials will regularly take feedback from all the employees. At the same time, instructions have been given to clean all the market areas of Delhi twice daily. Whether all the markets are being cleaned regularly or not will also be monitored regularly. At the same time, during all this, it will be the responsibility of MCD to provide necessary resources and support the sanitation workers in every way.
