Delhi Assembly: In the Delhi Assembly, CM Arvind Kejriwal has fiercely attacked the Lieutenant Governor. CM Kejriwal said that LG has no right to stop the budget. He said that the constitution of the country has been attacked. While giving a speech in the Vidhan Sabha on Tuesday, CM Kejriwal said that the budget of Delhi was never stopped till date. This has happened for the first time. The central government has broken this tradition.
Speaking further in the assembly, the CM accused the Center that we do not know how to fight but work. He said that the central government has no right to object to the budget. He said that there is an appeal to the PM that we do not want to fight because we are very small people. Homes, states and even countries are ruined by fighting.
He said that we had prepared the budget earlier, then the Center put a stop to it. Then we requested the BJP people with folded hands, they approved the same budget. Kejriwal said that the BJP people wanted us to bow down before them. That’s why they withheld the budget, as soon as we bowed down before BJP, they allowed the budget to be presented.
The CM further said that the BJP people were saying that in our proposed budget, we have paid less attention to the issues related to infrastructure, health and common people. While more emphasis on advertising. Kejriwal said, I want to tell you that we had allocated Rs 500 crore for advertisement, while 20 thousand crore were allocated for infrastructure and other sectors. Now BJP people answer me whether 500 crores is more than 20 thousand crores. Along with this, he said that BJP people have kept a group of illiterate people sitting from top to bottom. At least such people should be given to read the budget, who are at least educated. Those who understand that what is more in 500 crores and 20 thousand crores.
