Along with this, in his petition, he has also demanded to collect information about the number of people living in the live-in.

Advocate Mamta Rani has said in her petition that the Supreme Court should direct the Central Government in this regard. He said in the petition that the information about this number can also be found only when the registration of live in relation will be made mandatory. He has cited Shraddha Walker and Nikki Yadav murder case in the petition.

It has been said in the petition that the Supreme Court in several orders has given protection to the people living in live in relation facing danger. Along with this, it is considered within the ambit of fundamental rights, but there is no system for registration of such relations.
