If the applicant is offered self-employment or any job in government or private sector, but the applicant does not accept the offer, then such applicant will be ineligible for unemployment allowance.
Family members of former and present ministers, state ministers and former or present members of Parliament or state legislatures, former and present mayors of municipal corporations and former and present chairpersons of district panchayats will be ineligible for unemployment allowance.
Family members of pensioners who receive a monthly pension of Rs 10,000 or more will be ineligible for unemployment allowance.

Other professionals such as engineers, doctors, lawyers, chartered accountants and family members of architects registered with professional bodies will be ineligible for unemployment allowance.
Process of acceptance of unemployment allowance
A copy of the detailed scheme of unemployment allowance will be available on the website of the Employment Department and Panchayat and District Electricity Scheme on the website of Rot Rural Development Department and Urban Administration Department and it will also be publicized through newspapers and other mediums.
The concerned district panchayats and urban bodies will keep the complete record of all the applicants in the form prescribed by the employment department.

It will be checked every 6 months
The concerned district panchayat / urban body will check the beneficiaries receiving unemployment allowance every 6 months to ensure that they are still eligible or have become ineligible to receive unemployment allowance. By issuing notice to ineligible beneficiaries and after hearing, in case they are ineligible, the concerned district panchayat / urban body will pass an order to stop their unemployment allowance and the amount of unemployment allowance will be stopped.
Skill development training also offered
Skill development training will be offered to all those people who will be granted unemployment allowance. After the skill development training, they will be helped to get employment and if they refuse to participate in the skill development training or do not accept the employment offered, their unemployment allowance will be stopped.
