Yashwant Ganjeer / Kurud. You would have never seen such a unique friendship of students in Kurud Nagar of Dhamtari district of Chhattisgarh. All of them are students of Government High School Kurud Batch 1963. Now the age of all these has crossed 82 or 78. But their friendship is still intact. Let me tell you, former teacher Chokhelal Sahu, a member of Mitra Sangathan, had organized a Mitra Milan program at his residence, Teacher’s Colony, Kurud. In which former professor Chandrakar, former teacher Indraman Sahu, former engineer Satyawan Dewangan, businessman Ramadhar Kamalvanshi, former teacher Manharan Lal Bais, senior journalist Kriparam Yadav, senior journalist Premlal Sahu, former teacher Ripusudan Yadu, former K.V. Additional Dway, Sadandas Sahu, Khemraj Sahu, Yugalkishore Agarwal, members of Businessmen Alumni Friends Circle were present. The memories of the bygone days were revived during this program. Apart from this, jokes, comedy, introduction meeting were also kept. Which ended at 5 pm.
Friends organization intact since 1960
Friends Association of Alumni is running since 1960. In the meantime self Ramakant Chandrakar has lost dozens of friends like English Linguist Professor Dahdaha, Principal Ganesh Ram Sahu, Teacher Jailal Sinha Kurud. Yet the 15-member Mitra Mandal has continued the tradition. In the month of January, programs were organized by Indraman Sahu in Bhatagaon and Saroj Chandrakar in Raipur. The program was organized by Ramadhar Kamalvanshi in February. And in April also Chokhelal Sahu did a Mitra Milan programme.

Tell me, with the inspiration of the students of 1963 batch, MLA and Cabinet Minister Ajay Chandrakar celebrated the Golden Jubilee Festival on the completion of 50 years of the high school with the cooperation of the citizens. In which students from 1962 to 2013 batch had participated. Guru Shishya Sammelan was also held here, which was praised in the entire Raipur division. Since then, Guru Shishya Samaroh has been getting inspiration in the programs of schools and colleges.
