Raipur. Chhattisgarh government has taken a big step after the scam unearthed regarding the posting after the promotion of teachers. School Education Department has canceled the posting of more than 2 thousand teachers. According to sources, the department has taken this decision after the approval of the Chief Minister. In the state, it was revealed that teachers were appointed at their desired place by taking money for posting and promotion. In which the collusion of many officials was also revealed.
According to the revelations, bypassing the fixed system, the officials had made their own new system, after which the government has now canceled more than 2 thousand transfer-postings by taking strict action in this matter. Earlier, 11 officers of the state have also been suspended in this matter.
Attempt to eliminate legal scope
According to departmental sources, such a 7-page order has been prepared by the government to cancel the posting, that there will be little scope for legal relief to the teachers. Full details have been written in the order as to how the joint directors made transfers despite not having the authority and the transfer being banned. In this, the investigation of five commissioners has been cited, in which all have confirmed corruption. The department has asked the teachers to join the schools with prior posting within 10 days, else their promotion will be cancelled.
11 officers have been suspended
Earlier, taking action on the posting scam, the state government suspended the first 11 officers. These include K Kumar-then Joint Director (Education) Raipur, CS Dhruv, District Education Officer Balodabazar-Bhatapara, Assistant Director DS Dhruv-Divisional Education Office Raipur, Assistant Director Shail Sinha, Assistant Director Usha Kiran Khalkho and many officers. After this, apart from Raipur division, Hemant Upadhyay-in-charge of Surguja division, joint director Surguja has also been suspended and then DEO DS Chauhan, in-charge of Gariaband, has also been suspended in the transfer posting scam.
