On the call of the Chhattisgarh State Principal Promotion Sangharsh Morcha, a strong demand has been made from the government to issue the order for the promotion of principals which has been stalled for years in the state. Under the Department of School Education in the state, there has been no promotion to the post of principal in high school and higher secondary schools since the year 2013 in the “T” cadre and since the year 2016 in the “E” cadre. The posts of principal are lying vacant in more than three thousand schools in the state. Hundreds of regular lecturers and regular head readers of “T” and “E” cadre have retired due to non-promotion to the post of principal for years. Many lecturers and head readers have died while watching the way of promotion to the post of principal.
Principal promotion is obstructed for many years
“Chhattisgarh State Principal Promotion Sangharsh Morcha” constituted by Satish Prakash Singh to start the departmental process of promotion of principals which has been stalled for many years in the state and for quick promotion to all the vacant posts of principals in high schools and higher secondary schools. Has been done. On behalf of the Principal Promotion Struggle Front, the moral battle of Principal Promotion in the form of self-esteem of regular lecturers and head readers of “T” and “E” cadre is being fought widely in the entire state. Satish Prakash Singh, Baldau Prasad Kosle, KR Dayal, Pandit Bhardwaj, Mithilesh Singh Sengar, Ashok Chauhan, Anil Tigga, Chief Convenor of “Chhattisgarh State Principal Promotion Struggle Front” on March 27 for a one-point demand to issue the order for the promotion of Principal soon , Akhilesh Tripathi, RC Jangden and a delegation of other lecturer-principal readers, Dr. Alok Shukla, Principal Secretary, School Education Department, Dr. S.K. Bharti Dasan and the Director, Directorate of Public Education, Chhattisgarh Raipur met senior officials and handed over a memorandum to get the order for Principal’s promotion issued as soon as possible.
Issue the order of promotion soon
The delegation of the Principal Promotion Struggle Front in the Ministry, after discussing with the Principal Secretary, Secretary and Director of the Department of School Education, Directorate of Public Education, Chhattisgarh, Raipur, demanded that a fixed time-bound program of two months, April-May, for the immediate promotion of the Principal. The entire departmental process of Principal’s promotion should be completed on time by getting the time table issued. Also, before the new academic session 16 June 2023, an order for promotion to the post of Principal should be issued. On this, Principal Secretary of School Education Department Dr. Alok Shukla and Secretary Dr. S. Bharti Dasan have assured the delegation of Morcha to take appropriate initiative in this regard soon. On behalf of “Chhattisgarh State Principal Promotion Sangharsh Morcha”, work is being done at every possible level to get the order for Principal promotion issued as soon as possible. Principal Promotion Sangharsh Morcha is trying to establish coordination with all the recognized teacher organizations, teacher associations, unions, federation and various lecturer associations-different organizations-groups formed for the welfare of head readers.
