Deepak Mittal – Balod. Parents and children today boycotted the government primary school in Khursipar village of Balod district. Only the teachers were seen sitting in the school. Sarpanch Rohit Kumar Thakur told that, we have been demanding teachers for a long time. Here there are only 2 teachers behind 74 children. Due to which the standard of education is going down. Sarpanch told that till the shortage of teachers is not fulfilled, we will not send children to school. Let us tell you that there was silence in the school and the chairs were empty and the classes were deserted.

One teacher attached, another paralyzed

The teacher working in the school told that the number of children enrolled in the school is 74, there were 3 teachers posted in the school, out of which one teacher has been attached to another place. There is a male teacher who is paralysed. Thus there is a shortage of teachers. We came to know from the parents after coming to the school, when we asked why the children did not come, the parents told that the school will be boycotted until enough teachers are placed in the school.

no one to teach

The sarpanch told that at present there are two teachers in the school, one of them is paralyzed and the other teacher who does all the work of head reader, remains busy in making documents. In this way, there is no one left to teach the children. That’s why we will keep the children at home but will not send them to school.
