A few months ago, Raipur district including the capital was in the grip of dengue. Its complaints have not ended completely and one or two patients are reaching the hospital for treatment.
Cold has started and after evening the complaints of mosquitoes outside the house have started increasing. Those who hover around in small numbers in the morning become active in large numbers by the evening and are biting people. The mosquitoes seen during the cold season are larger than those seen during the rainy season and their bites are more uncomfortable. According to experts, the time for mosquitoes to breed is the rainy season. Due to cold weather they appear more active.
One fogging machine in the capital, three in the wards
According to the information, the Municipal Corporation has a big fogging machine to drive away mosquitoes before the big event to be held in the capital and the other one has been lying broken for a long time. Three manual machines each have been provided for use in big wards, which do not seem to be used anywhere.
