Along with examining the patients in the OPD, doctors continued to do the work of offering saline and applying ointment. Various investigations were affected due to the shortage of technicians and radiographers, while routine surgeries were also postponed in major hospitals. Help of nursing girl students studying in colleges was also taken to handle the arrangements of hospitals.
Patients upset due to strike of doctors
The health workers have gone on strike since Tuesday with their two dozen demands. The treatment system in all health centers along with hospitals has been affected due to the simultaneous shutdown of all cadre employees. The striking employees had kept some employees away from the strike to maintain the arrangements of oxygen supply, water, electricity, operation theatre, emergency, trauma and ICU in the hospitals. Despite this, the hospital system was affected.

The doctors examined the patients who came to the OPD in Ambedkar Hospital in the morning and in the absence of class III and IV employees, they continued to do their dressing and dressing.
