According to the information received, the police received information from the informer that a person was transporting cash in MG Gloster. After which the police laid siege, when the car arrived, the police checked it and found Rs 6 lakh in the car. When the police asked the man about the cash, he told that he works as a contractor in the Railways and he was taking this payment to give to the labourers. When the police asked him for valid evidence in this regard, he was unable to provide it. After which, the police arrested the accused and seized the cash. The investigation regarding this entire matter is going on.
Let us tell you that there are upcoming assembly elections in the state, hence the seizure of huge amount of cash thrice within a month raises many serious questions. The biggest question is whose cash it is, where and why it was going. At present the police has not made any major revelation in any case related to this.
