Rahul Bhoi / Mahasamund. The police of Chhattisgarh is constantly taking action against illegal ganja smugglers. Meanwhile, the police arrested three smugglers by seizing two quintals of 20 kg ganja from two cars in two different police station areas of Mahasamund district. The case pertains to Komakhan and Basna police station area.
According to the information received, two smugglers are residents of Raipur and one smuggler from Madhya Pradesh. Komakhan police took action and seized 120 kg of ganja worth 25 lakhs. At the same time, the Basna police have seized 100 kg of ganja worth 25 lakhs. In both the cases, the value of seized ganja along with two cars is said to be Rs 55 lakh. At present, the police have arrested all the three accused and sent them to jail.
