Great Sea – Police of Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh has taken major action on illegal drug Ganja. Police has arrested 1 inter-state smuggler with 1 quintal ganja worth Rs 10 lakh.
According to the information received, the police received information from the informer that a young man was illegally carrying marijuana in a truck to Maharashtra and Punjab. After this, the police laid siege and arrested 1 interstate ganja smuggler. 1 quintal of ganja was seized from the accused, whose value is said to be Rs 10 lakh. At present, the police have registered a case against the accused and started action under Section 20(b) of the Narcotics Act.
