Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is trying to garner the support of the opposition against the central government’s ordinance. In this episode, on Wednesday, the Delhi CM met former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. This meeting took place at Uddhav Thackeray’s residence. AAP MPs Sanjay Singh and Raghav Chadha as well as Delhi cabinet minister Atishi were also present in this meeting with CM Kejriwal. During this, CM Kejriwal said that Uddhav Thackeray has promised us that he will support us in the Parliament and if this bill (ordinance) is not passed in the Parliament, then the Modi government will not come back to power in 2024.

Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said that we all have come together to save the country and democracy. I think we should not be called ‘Opposition’ party, but Center should be called ‘Opposition’ as they are against democracy and constitution.

Earlier yesterday, on Tuesday i.e. May 23, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. After this he claimed that he got the support of Mamta Sarkar. At the same time, Mamta Banerjee said that we oppose this ordinance, we request other parties also to oppose it.

Apart from this, CM Mamta accused the BJP that the way the law is being misused, we are afraid that the Constitution of the country may be changed. Let us inform that Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal has started a nationwide tour from Tuesday i.e. 23 May. Kejriwal is making the visit to seek the support of opposition leaders against the Centre’s ordinance on transfer and posting of bureaucrats. After meeting Mamta Banerjee and Uddhav Thackeray, Kejriwal will now meet NCP supremo Sharad Pawar on Thursday i.e. 24 May.
