Bihar:Liquor ban was implemented by the Bihar government only in 2016, but still the work of making and selling liquor illegally is going on in Bihar. Actually, the business of making illegal liquor was being done in Muzaffarpur crematorium. After getting information about this, the police took action and demolished the furnace. Here, in the dark of night, the liquor mafia did the work of making country liquor and the people around felt that some dead body was burning.
When the Muzaffarpur police raided the crematorium on Wednesday, it came to know that the business of making liquor illegally was going on, not pyre. Police have recovered a huge quantity of country liquor and its preparation material from the spot.
In this regard, Muzaffarpur District Sadar Police Station President Satyendra Kumar Mishra said that 2 cylinders, gas stove, utensils, pipe, java and other items have been recovered from the cremation ground. Along with this, the police found a jar of 10 liters which was filled with country liquor. He told that the raid was done around 4 am on Wednesday. Police Station President Satyendra Kumar Mishra said that the people around there used to think that a funeral pyre was being lit. The case pertains to Madhopur-Susta Pokhar border area of Sadar police station area.
