At present, the Hanuman Katha of Pandit Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham is going on in Patna, the capital of Bihar. The Katha started on May 13 and will continue till May 17. People are coming from far and wide to listen to the story of Baba Bageshwar. Even people from the neighboring country Nepal are reaching Patna. On the second day of the programme, more than 10 lakh people reached to listen to Dhirendra Shastri’s Hanuman Katha. He had to stop his story in the middle due to the crowd more than expected.

Katha was canceled when more devotees arrived than expected

Please tell that Sunday was the second day of Hanuman Katha. On the second day, so many devotees came to listen to the story that even the space around the pandal was filled. Due to the huge crowd and intense heat, many people started having difficulty in breathing. The health of many people started deteriorating. Keeping in mind the problems faced by the people, Pandit Dhirendra Shastri informed about the postponement of Monday’s story. Baba has appealed to the people that those who are coming to Patna to listen to the Katha, should get their tickets cancelled. Actually, the management had made arrangements for the pandal for 3 lakh people only. But more people than expected reached to listen to Baba’s story.

Before Pandit Dhirendra Shastri came to Patna, a lot of effort was made to create a political environment in Bihar. Pictures ranging from gherao at the airport to tearing of posters were seen. Tej Pratap Yadav had said that if he is coming here to do Hindu Muslim, then we will gherao him at the airport itself. After this, the posters put up there to welcome Dhirendra Shastri were also torn. After this, when Bageshwar Baba reached Patna on May 13, a huge crowd of his supporters was seen at the airport. Among the supporters were Union Minister Giriraj Singh to BJP MPs Manoj Tiwari and Ramkripal Yadav. Manoj Tiwari then drove his car and took him from the airport to the hotel.

It will have an impact in 2024 and 2025 elections

BJP is also being accused of Hindu polarization in Bihar through Baba Bageshwar, now it remains to be seen how much it will affect the 2024 general elections and the Bihar elections to be held by the end of 2025.
