Delhi News: The Delhi Police has denied permission to take out a Shobha Yatra on the occasion of Ram Navami in Jahangirpuri area. Along with this, the permission to conduct Ramzan programs in the open ground in Maurya Enclave area has also been banned. Meanwhile, the police say that the organizers of the procession are not from Jahangirpuri and last year a huge law and order problem was seen here. Due to this, the procession has not been allowed this time on the occasion of Ram Navami. At the same time, Delhi Police has asked to conduct the program at another place.

Let us tell you that the Delhi Police has not given permission to take out the Ram Navami procession in Jahangirpuri area. Actually, a situation of communal tension can arise in the area, due to which this decision has been taken. At the same time, last year on April 16, 2022, there was a clash between two groups during a procession taken out on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti in Jahangirpuri area. One person, including 8 policemen, was injured in the clash.

In this regard, the police had issued an order on Monday saying that permission was denied for Shri Ram Bhagwan Pratima Yatra. The order said that your request to visit the idol of Lord Shri Ram has been considered by the competent authority, but it cannot be accepted in view of law and order.

Along with this, on Thursday, the festival of Ram Navami will be celebrated with pomp all over the world including India. On this day, a procession of Lord Rama is taken out by the Hindu society, but this time permission has not been granted to take out this procession in Jahangirpuri, Delhi. Police officials have taken this decision keeping in view the security in Jahangirpuri area.
