Jamui Daroga Murder: A speeding tractor carrying illegal sand crushed a police team near Ropavel village in Garhi police station area of Jamui district in Bihar, killing a sub-inspector while another policeman was seriously injured. . The SI killed in the accident has been identified as Prabhat Ranjan. The injured policeman was immediately admitted to a private hospital in Jamui, where he is undergoing treatment.

According to media reports, the police team had gone out for patrolling at around seven in the morning. Meanwhile, the police team saw a tractor laden with sand. Inspector Prabhat Ranjan had signaled the tractor driver to stop. However, the tractor driver had something different in mind. Instead of applying brakes to stop the tractor, he increased the speed. The accused driver crushed SI Prabhat Ranjan and his partner Rajesh Kumar Sah and fled from the spot.
Police started investigating the case
The entire accident happened so fast that the police team did not even get a chance to escape. The sub-inspector and the policeman were seriously injured. After getting information about the matter, Garhi police station in-charge Amresh Kumar immediately reached the spot. Meanwhile, both the injured policemen were admitted to the hospital for treatment. Here the doctors declared Prabhat Ranjan dead. Also, after the incident, Jamui SP said that the matter is being investigated. Several police teams have been formed. The accused will be arrested soon and will be given the harshest punishment.
