Bihar: The body of a youth was recovered on Saturday from the residence of Congress MLA Neetu Singh in Nawada district of Bihar. The deceased has been identified as Piyush Singh, son of Tuntun Singh, a distant relative of the MLA. Neetu Singh Hisua is MLA and his house is located in Narhat area of the district. According to media reports, Neetu Singh was in Patna for the last few days and no other member of her family was there at the time of the incident.
SP gave information
Giving information, the SP said that the police received information about the dead body at the MLA’s house at 4.30 pm, after which a team reached the spot. The police team came to know that the body of Piyush Singh was lying in the room of Golu Singh, who is Neetu Singh’s nephew. Later, the police also called FSL experts and dog squad teams to the spot to investigate the matter. All necessary evidence is being collected.
Body sent for post mortem
The SP said that the body has been sent for post-mortem and Neetu Singh’s house is being searched by the police. He said that based on initial investigation we are suspecting Golu Singh. However, no arrest has been made in the case so far. The suspect is absconding. When the post-mortem is done, we will know at what time the incident took place. He also said what was the reason behind the incident. This is being investigated and family members are being interrogated.
