NCP supremo Sharad Pawar has once again attacked the editorial of Shiv Sena mouthpiece ‘Saamana’. Apart from this, he has also taken a dig at Congress leader and former Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan (Ex CM Prithviraj Chauhan) who commented on NCP. Saamana’s May 9 editorial wrote that Sharad Pawar had not been able to prepare a successor during his tenure, which would have taken his party forward.
Responded to Raut on the successor comment
on Tuesday Maharashtra Talking to reporters in Satara, Maharashtra, the NCP chief hit back at Sanjay Raut, the executive editor of Saamana, saying that he does not care what others write about him. Those whom he has groomed have already proved their mettle. Pawar further said that we do not give importance to those who write such things. They will write, it is their right to do so. We ignore that. We know what we are doing, we get satisfaction from it. Please tell that on Monday, Sanjay Raut had told the media that we had kept our point only in Saamana. There is no criticism of the NCP chief in the editorial.

Prithviraj Chavan was also not spared
Apart from this, Sharad Pawar did not even spare senior Congress leader Prithviraj Chavan. Chavan had commented on the behavior of the NCP, saying that it has links with the BJP.
