Demonetization Anniversary: In the year 2016, suddenly at eight o’clock in the night, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the countrymen and took a big decision. He surprised everyone by deciding to demonetise overnight on 8 November 2016. In this decision of demonetization, notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 were stopped. It has completed 7 years today. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has attacked the central government regarding this. He tweeted and said that its purpose was only to benefit the capitalists.
Rahul Gandhi said- bag full of best friends
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has posted on X that demonetization was a well-planned conspiracy. Through this, employment has been destroyed and the unorganized economy has been destroyed. He called demonetization a weapon, through which Param Mitra’s bag was filled and he was made the second richest man in the world by 609. He said that their conspiracy is to destroy employment, stop the income of workers, destroy small businesses, harm farmers and break the unorganized economy. 99 percent of common Indians were attacked and only 1 percent of capitalists’ Modi friends’ were benefited.
Mallikarjun Kharge said – Billionaire became rich
Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge has also cornered PM Modi by posting on X. He said that after demonetization, PM Modi had asked for 50 days, today it has been 7 years. That crossroads was not found, but the country was definitely placed at the crossroads. On one hand, the rich and billionaires have become richer, while on the other hand, the poor are becoming even poorer. Today is an opportunity to pay tribute to 150 people who weathered the cyclone of demonetisation. The country’s economy and growth rate suffered a deep blow. In one fell swoop, millions of small businesses came to a standstill. Crores of people lost their jobs. The savings that our Griha Lakshmi women had accumulated by adding every penny has been destroyed. Fake notes increased further, fake notes of Rs 500 increased by 14 percent last year alone and demonetization had to be implemented on Rs 2000 notes also.
Modi government failed to curb black money. Cash In Circulation has increased by 83 percent since 2016. In the last seven years, 76 per cent of those who bought property had to pay a part of the price in cash. Modi government’s demonetization is like a deep wound in the lives of common citizens, which they are still trying to heal.
