Demonetization Anniversary: In the year 2016, suddenly at eight o’clock in the night, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the countrymen and took a big decision. He surprised everyone by deciding to demonetise overnight on 8 November 2016. In this decision of demonetization, notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 were stopped. It has completed 7 years today.
