Country’s biggest train accident in 20 years
Three trains collided near Balasore in Odisha on Friday. The Bengaluru-Howrah Express rammed into the derailed Coromandel Express. The coaches of the Coromandel Express also rammed into a goods train parked there. This accident is being described as the worst train accident in the last 20 years. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav says that a CBI inquiry will be conducted into the accident so that all aspects related to the accident can come to the fore.
