Karnataka: A news that puts humanity to shame has come out from Belagavi, Karnataka. In fact, the girl’s family stripped the boy’s mother, tied her to a pillar and beat her up because the girl ran away with her son. The video of this incident is also going viral rapidly. At the same time, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s reaction has come to light on this incident.

CM Siddaramaiah has posted regarding this on his social media platform X. He said in his post that in Belgaum, stripping a woman, tying her to a pillar and beating her is extremely inhumane. The entire society is disappointed by this. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that our government will not tolerate such heinous acts.

The CM further wrote that many people have already been arrested in connection with the case. He said that it is our sole responsibility to provide justice to the victim’s family by taking action to give the harshest punishment to the culprits. Speaking to the media, the CM said, “We will take strict action against whoever is guilty in the case.”

Home Minister Dr G. Parameshwar said the accused attacked the woman with a hammer, removed her clothes and tied her to a pillar. As soon as the police got information about this, they reached the spot and rescued the woman and admitted her to the district hospital. Police have registered a case in this regard and have already arrested 7 accused. A total of 9 people are involved in this act. Two others are absconding, whom the police is searching for.
