Nepal PM India Visit: Nepal’s Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ will be on a four-day official visit to India from May 31. This will be his first foreign trip after assuming office. The Nepalese PM will be here at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he will be accompanied by a delegation of high-ranking Nepalese government officials, including ministers and secretaries. During the visit, the Prime Minister of Nepal will meet various Indian dignitaries including President Draupadi Murmu and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar.

In addition, he will participate in in-depth discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi focusing on various aspects of India-Nepal bilateral relations. The visit will also provide an opportunity for other Indian officials to engage with the Nepalese Prime Minister. According to media reports, apart from his official meetings in New Delhi, Nepal PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ will also visit Indore and Ujjain. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, his visit continues the tradition of regular high-level exchanges between India and Nepal in furtherance of our ‘neighbourhood first’ policy.

The Ministry of External Affairs said that the visit of Prime Minister Prachanda to India is a symbol of long-standing friendship and close cooperation between the two neighboring countries.
