Britain is going to witness the coronation once again after 70 years. Although King Charles got the status of monarch only after the death of Queen Elizabeth II, but the tradition of coronation will be formally followed on Saturday. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar arrived in Britain on Friday to attend the coronation ceremony of Britain’s monarch at Westminster Abbey on Saturday. Along with this, he also interacted with King Charles in a program. Vice President Dhankhar, along with his wife Dr. Sudesh Dhankhar, will be among an estimated 100 heads of state and government from around the world who have been invited to the historic coronation of Britain’s new monarch.

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said on the coronation of Prince Charles that no other country can organize such processions, festivals and celebrations. It is a proud expression of our history, culture and traditions. A vivid display of the modern character of our country and a cherished ritual through which a new era is born. Saturday’s event will be on a smaller scale than the one organized for Queen Elizabeth in 1953, but it is still expected to be a grand affair.
