Nepal PM took responsibility for the death of 5000 people, filed a case in the Supreme Court, will be produced on this day

It has only been a short time since the formation of Nepal’s government that a big problem has come in front of the Prime Minister. While on one hand the challenge of saving the government continues in front of Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal, on the other hand a case of mass murder has been registered against him. In the Supreme Court of Nepal, some lawyers have filed a case against the Prime Minister on behalf of the Maoist aggrieved party.

After the case was filed against PM Dahal, the Supreme Court has fixed the date of hearing for 9 March. Two separate writs have been filed against Prachanda, the Prime Minister of Nepal. The Supreme Court has also issued summons to the Prime Minister to appear on March 9 at 10 am.

A petition against the Prime Minister has been filed by 8 lawyers including Supreme Court advocates Kalyan Budhathoki, Suvas Giri and the second petition has been filed by 14 people including Supreme Court advocate Gyanendra Raj Aran. In this regard, the Supreme Court has also fixed the date of hearing on Thursday. The petitioner said that Prime Minister Pushpakamal Dahal had himself accepted the responsibility of killing 5,000 people. That’s why this case has been registered against him.

Let us tell you that three years ago, on January 15, 2020, in a public program in Kathmandu, Prime Minister Pushkamal Dahal said to take responsibility for the killing of 5,000 civilians out of 17,000 people killed in the armed insurgency launched by the Maoists. Regarding this, a petition has been filed against him in the Supreme Court.

The PM had said that he is accused of killing 17,000 people in the armed rebellion, which is a lie. He had said that the death of 12,000 citizens was caused by a government agency, but the blame for that is also put on me. He is ready to take responsibility for only 5,000 murders, he said. The PM had further said that he would not back down from this nor would he run away from responsibility.
