At least four people lost their lives, while three others were seriously injured. All the injured have been admitted to Meerut Medical College for better treatment. DM gave information

Giving information about the case, District Magistrate Deepak Meena said that four people have died in this accident. They were all men. At the same time, he also said that other injured people are out of danger. Also, while giving information on the explosion, it was also said that it happened due to chemicals in some machinery. We are trying to find the exact reason. The four people who died in the accident. They were all labourers.

Search operation continues

The DM also said that a search operation is currently being conducted to ensure that no one is trapped under the debris due to the explosion. He also said that it was discovered that soap wrapping and packaging activities were being carried out within the premises. This factory belongs to one Gaurav Gupta. The owner has also been called to the spot to investigate the matter.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over the accident that took place in Lohia Nagar, Meerut by posting on Facebook. The Chief Minister has requested the concerned district administration officials to reach the spot and expedite the relief work and immediately take the injured to the hospital for their treatment.
