Ghaziabad News : In Ghaziabad’s Nandgram, the police has taken major action in the matter of garbage collection and disposal. In this case, the police have registered a case against six people including the owner, manager and employees of the engineering private limited company. This case has been registered for negligence, cheating, acting in a malicious manner. This action has been taken by the police on the complaint of the health officer of Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation.

According to media reports, Nandgram’s Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Ravi Kumar Singh said that a case has been registered against the owner, manager Ankit Agarwal and employees of Zerone Company. Along with this, he also told that a case has been registered on the complaint of City Health Officer Dr. Mithilesh Kumar. At the same time, in the FIR, no one other than manager Ankit Aggarwal has been named, while the owner, partner, employee and contractor have been mentioned in it.

Case filed against six people including company owner, manager

The contract for garbage collection and disposal was awarded to the Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation by the Zerone Company. The company, which worked closely with the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, allowed disposal vehicles to dump Ghaziabad’s garbage. After this, on June 24, 2022, the contract was awarded to Zerone Company for a period of five years. In the complaint made to the police, it was said that the weight of MCD’s garbage has been rigged in the municipal bill. In this, the cost of garbage was added at the rate of Rs 425 per tonne.

According to the information, the team of GNN (Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation) had a secret information, after which three MCD vehicles were seized from near the garbage disposal site in Morta village. During interrogation in this matter, the drivers confessed that the vehicles were throwing garbage from Delhi to Ghazipur for the last three months.
